- Our Fall Worship Schedule . . .
Resumed LAST WEEK, on Sunday, September 5. The early service will continue to be held at 8:00 a.m., but the late service is moved to the 10:45 a.m. starting time. Sunday School classes will resume THIS Sunday, September 12.
- Adult Sunday School Class . . .
Join us in the church parlor from 9:15 to 10:15 Sunday mornings as we study The Lutheran Course. More info in the Parish Notes.
- HEALTH KIT SUPPLIES are READY to go!
Thanks to the generosity of the congregation we have exceeded our goal, and completed 70 kits! The kits will be will be blessed at our worship on Sunday, September 12, and then taken to the collection center in Indiana, PA in preparation for shipping to domestic and foreign ports. The social ministry committee would like to thank everyone who donated items!
- The Ligonier Food Pantry . . .
Has asked the people of St. James to collect scalloped potatoes for distribution in September. There is a box in the side church for your donations. Please try to have your donations to the church by Sunday, September 12.
- Family Games night...
Join your St. James family and friends as they gather at the next Game Night Friday, September 17 at 7:00 pm. Bring a snack to share and join the fun and fellowship.
- Golden Anniversary Sunday . . .
Sunday, September 19 we will celebrate Golden Anniversary Sunday. We recognize those couples that have celebrated 50 or more years of marriage. See the Parish Notes for the names. Please contact the church office if there are any other names to be added or changed.
- Pork Chop Dinners Return . . .
It’s that time again! Save Thursday, September 23 for the first Pork Chop dinner of the fall season. Work up an appetite as you join others in our church helping to prepare the meal. Sign up sheets will soon be available at the back of the church..
